Kobe Bryant Feels Rehab is Ahead of Schedule

Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant has returned to the team after traveling to Germany to undergo Orthokine treatment in his knee- A simple procedure that Bryant underwent twice back in 2011.

Bryant was with the Lakers for their preseason game against the Denver Nuggets on , and although he didn't end up speaking with any reporters, he made a brief appearance for an interview for the Time Warner Cable telecast.


Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times reported,

"He said it went great, feels good," Coach Mike D'Antoni said Tuesday, the Lakers and Bryant declining to provide anything additional. Bryan was at the team's exhibition game against Denver in Ontario but did not talk to reporters beforehand. Two hours before tipoff, he got off the team bus with a small box of cupcakes in his hand as a Laker security official handed him his sunglasses. Bryant sat on the bench during the game while wearing his Lakers warm-ups. It was as close as he got to playing exactly three weeks before the season opener."
Bryant did however tell Mike Trudell during the Time Warner Cable broadcast, "I feel very fortunate to be at this stage. I feel like I'm ahead of schedule."
