When he was healthy last season, forward Glen Davis was impressive for the Orlando Magic. However, his season was shortened due to a foot injury that ultimately required surgery. The Magic are hoping to get Davis back healthy for the start of the 2013-14 campaign, and it looks like all signs point to them being able to do just that.
Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports that Davis is expected to be cleared to resume basketball-related activities by the end of the month, which would put him in line to be ready to roll for the start of training camp.
Magic forward Glen Davis (foot) is expected to be cleared to resume basketball activities by month's end, a source told Yahoo! Sports. Before he suffered his foot injury, Davis averaged 15.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season. There were initially concerns that he could miss the start of the 13-14 season, but it appears that is no longer the case.

Considering he's not viewed as part of the Magic's youth movement, Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk reports that Davis could be shopped once he proves healthy. He currently has two years and $13 million remaining on his contract.
