Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried recently rolled his ankle during a pickup game. While he met with trainers over the weekend, the ailment is not expected to keep Faried out of Team USA’s minicamp, according to Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today.

Faried is no stranger to ankle injuries, as he sustained a similar ailment in April. It didn’t cause him to miss much time, and he was able to play in 80 of the Nuggets’ 82 games this season. During his time with the team, Faried averaged 11.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.
Faried isn’t the first hopeful Team USA player to suffer an ankle injury this offseason. Taj Gibson sprained his ankle and will miss the Team USA minicamp as a result.
