The Miami Heat recently amnestied sharpshooter Mike Miller, meaning the veteran would be put through the waiver process. Yesterday it was announced that he made it through waivers unclaimed, while Brian Windhorst of ESPN reported that the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets are among the teams that have expressed interest in the new unrestricted free agent.

Miller has dealt with injuries throughout his career, and he can be a streaky shooter at times, but he has won NBA Championships and owns a career percentage of 40.6 percent from three-point range. Last season for the Heat the 33-year-old averaged 4.8 points per game while shooting 41.7 percent from three.
