San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker took to Facebook to post an announcement regarding his ailing leg, telling followers that an MRI taken yesterday diagnosed him with a strained hamstring. For his part, Parker is hopeful to suit up for tonight’s Game 4 against the Miami Heat, but he remains questionable for the contest.
Parker posted in French, but here’s the English translation (courtesy of Pro Basketball Talk).
I just had MRI. Result: I suffer from a slight strain to the hamstring. We’ll see tomorrow how I feel, I really hope to play!
Parker exited Game 3 in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. He came back for the fourth, but considering the Spurs significant lead they did not want to push him. It’s still unclear specifically when Parker suffered the injury, as all he could say is that he had a progressively worse “weird feeling” in his leg that ultimately forced him to exit the game.
