Warriors’ Stephen Curry plays in Game 4 win

Entering yesterday’s Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was considered questionable to play as a game-time decision. Given the importance of the contest, there was expectation that he would suit up against the Spurs. He did just that, and he was able to help the Warriors even the series 2-2.

Curry started the game and went on to log 39 minutes for the Warriors. During his time on the court, the sharpshooter scored 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting while contributing six rebounds and four assists.

The ankle has been ailing Curry throughout the playoffs, ashe initially injured it during the team’s first-round series against the Denver Nuggets. He then aggravated his ankle late in Game 3 of the second round, and it will likely continue to be an issue for Curry. Still, because he was able to play – and do so at a rather high level – last night, it’s likely that he’ll continue to suit up for the Warriors unless he suffers another aggravation.
