Warriors’ David Lee could see ‘significant minutes’ against Spurs

Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson believes that he could get more meaningful minutes out of forward David Lee during the team’s second-round matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. However, Jackson also said that there’s no expectation on Lee moving forward, as how his body responds will determine how much he plays, according to Carl Steward of The Contra Costa Times.

"It depends on how he's feeling and what the doctors and training staff and everybody else says about it," Jackson said. "But he's excited about it, and if he's healthy, and he can give us something, I will certainly utilize those minutes properly."

How much time Lee will see during the second round is to be determined, but what is certain is that he’s as tough as they come. Golden State would certainly receive a boost if he’s able to log more meaningful minutes against the Spurs.
