Knicks' Raymond Felton misses practice

New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton missed practice Thursday due to a personal reason, the team announced. Felton tweaked his ankle during Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers.

Considering his ankle injury, the day off is a bit more concerning than it would have otherwise been. However, the Knicks are indicating that Felton's missed practice isn't related to his ailment.

Felton suffered his injury during the third quarter of Game 2. He was removed after tweaking the ankle, but coach Mike Woodson said after the game that this was done more out of precaution than necessity. If the game had remained close, there's a chance Felton would have returned.

But the Knicks handled the Pacers in Game 2, and the team has had several days off prior to Game 3. Considering New York wasn't overly concerned about Felton's injury when it was sustained and the fact that they have had several off days since, he seems like a good bet to suit up tomorrow.
