New York Knicks power forward Amar’e Stoudemire will take
the next few off days to continue to work his way back into playing shape.
Stoudemire – who’s recovering from knee surgery – hasn’t faced any setbacks, and
coach Mike Woodson told reporters – including Tony Williams of The Star-Ledger –
that he expects to have the big man dressed for Game 3.
"He didn't have any setbacks after going 3-on-3 on Monday. We'll weigh it out again on Thursday and see where he is," said Woodson said. "And then by Friday we'll try and get him in a 5-on-5 setting and finally see where he is. If he doesn't have any setbacks by then, we'll probably dress him on Saturday."
