Heat G Dwyane Wade aggravates knee injury

The Miami Heat made it look easy last night against the short-handed Chicago Bulls, but they received an injury scare during the contest. Dwyane Wade aggravated his injured right knee during the second quarter of last night’s Game 4, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

Wade suffered the aggravation when he bumped knees with Bulls small forward Jimmy Butler. He was in noticeable pain following the contact, and he came to bench to have the knee examined.
The injury has been hampering Wade throughout the playoffs, and the Heat have termed it a bruise. While nothing has been identified as structurally wrong with the knee, it’s been a lingering issue for Wade.

More details of the ailment were revealed last night, as Wade told reporters that he’s dealing with three bone bruises. To attempt to protect the bruises, Wade tapes his kneecap over them.
"I'm taping it. When you have a [bone] bruise, you try to move the kneecap over so it won't rub. When you get into game sweat you have to re-tape it a bit."
Wade took time off between Round 1 and 2, and he continuesto receive treatment for the injured knee. Still, it’s continuing to bother him and impact his play. He finished last night’s contest with six points on 3-of-10 shooting, and he’s now averaged just 12 points per game during the second round.

  1. Knee injury has always been the problem by basketball players. That's why for me, I still recommend that they take joint support supplements to make sure they will have a stronger body, joints and muscle to face the game and even on other exercises.
