Dwyane Wade day-to-day with knee injury

After aggravating his knee injury during the Miami Heat’s Game 4 win over the Chicago Bulls, guard Dwyane Wade received extensive treatment for the ailment yesterday. Wade is considered day-to-day by the team and is questionable with tonight’s Game 5 approaching.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters – including Michael Wallace of ESPN – that Wade’s status hasn’t changed, he remains day-to-day with the aggravated knee.
"His status hasn't changed," Spoelstra said of Wade, who has multiple bruises and has been dealing with soreness in his right knee for more than two months. "We all know what he's dealing with. He's day to day. We'll evaluate him today. We'll evaluate him tomorrow and go from there."
The injury occurred when Wade bumped knees with Jimmy Butler. He told reporters that he’s not 100 percent, adding that he aggravated his former injury.
"I aggravated it," Wade said. "It hurt, but eventually, I was able to come back, re-tape my knee and try to finish."
Wade will be reevaluated today before Miami makes a decision on his status. Considering they are up on the Bulls 3-1 and Wade has been mostly ineffective during the series, Miami could rest the veteran as they did during Game 4 of their opening-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks.
