Bulls’ Nate Robinson suffers shoulder injury

The Chicago Bulls struggled in general during Game 4’s loss to the Miami Heat, but this was especially the case for guard Nate Robinson. The Heat zoned in on Robinson, but another reason for his ineffectiveness could be a left-shoulder injury that he sustained during the contest, according to Aggrey Sam of CSN Chicago.

For his part, Robinson didn’t want to discuss the injury or use it to account for his poor performance.
“Who knows, man? I don’t know. I don’t care,” Robinson said, when asked specifics about the injury. “It just happened today. But that doesn’t matter. I’ve got to keep pushing, man,” he continued. “Play through it.”
While Robinson downplayed the injury to reporters, Sam notes that the guard could be heard during the game exclaiming, “It hurts. It’s like a dagger. It’s like somebody stabbed me in the back.”

Robinson wasn’t sure when the injury occurred, but he guessed that it was during one of the trapped pick-and-rolls he faced. He figures to be available for tonight’s Game 5, as the Bulls attempt to stave off elimination against the Heat.
