Kirk Hinrich missed practice yesterday due to his lingering calf injury, but the Chicago Bulls were also without two other key players -- Luol Deng and Taj Gibson. Both Deng and Gibson were battling illness yesterday and stayed home sick, according to K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune.
Thibodeau said Hinrich didn't practice. Says he's improving. Deng, Gibson both sick and stayed home. #Bulls

We saw what James Harden of the Houston Rockets could do last night while playing through illness, and Deng and Gibson aren't likely to be sidelined as a result of the sickness. While you'd rather have your key players be healthy rather than sick, it's doubtful that the illnesses will have much of an impact on tonight's Game 6 against the Brooklyn Nets.
What does figure to play a role are injuries to Hinrich and Nets guard Joe Johnson. While Johnson has said that he'll continue to play through his heel ailment, Hinrich's calf has him listed as doubtful for tonight's matchup.
