Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng has shown limited signs of
improvement over the past few days, but he remains unlikely to suit up for
tonight’s Game 4 matchup against the Miami Heat, according to Nick Friedell of
"I'm OK," he said after Sunday's practice. "Just trying to get back into the rhythm of things. It's not as bad as it was before, just tried to practice [Saturday] or do some individual work, and I just started throwing up a little bit, couldn't finish the workout. Tried to practice with the team today and the same thing [happened]. It's just my body, my system, is not reacting well to anything I'm doing right now."
The Bulls have been without Deng since early in their opening-round series. While he's taking steps forward, it doesn't seem as though he's likely to return in the second round. In his absence, the team has counted on small forward Jimmy Butler.
