Bulls again without Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich

As yesterday’s Game 4 approached, Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng and guard Kirk Hinrich continued to hold the label of unlikely to play. This proved correct, as both players were once again sidelined by their ailments.

While he continues to recover from illness that sapped him of 15 pounds, Deng took a step toward returning by being active for last night’s contest. While he was active, he was still listed as unlikely to play, and he ultimately didn’t see time during the Bulls’ Game 4 loss to the Miami Heat.

Hinrich was not active, as he continues to recover from his badly bruised calf. He was recently seen working out on the treadmill, but he hasn’t been able to do much running at all since suffering his injury. He’s been said to have a long way to go in his recovery, so it’s also likely that he’ll be out for the remainder of the playoffs.
