Washington Wizards guard Martell Webster removed himself
from the third quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Miami Heat due to his
abdominal injury, which could wind up sidelining the sharpshooter for the remainder
of the season, according to J. Michael of CSN Washington.
“It’s super-sore. It’s one of those times where I got to kind of shut it down,” he said after playing 26 minutes and making only 2 of 7 shots. “My arms were moving faster than my legs. That was a sign I didn't want to make it any worse so I decided to come out.”
