It appears The Glove is going to the Hall of Fame. Nothing official has been announce yet, but Gary Payton has reportedly received the call and will be elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Gary Payton last played in 2007. That means he's Hall of Fame eligible, and he deserves the nod. In his career, Payton reinvented the point guard position. He was one of - if not the greatest - point guards in NBA history. In his career, Payton averaged 16.3 points per game and 6.7 assists per game. He played 17 seasons.
No injury concerns here, just a quick note to say congratulations to Gary Payton.
