Cleveland Cavaliers' guard Dion Waiters' left knee has been bothering him for the latter half of the regular season. Despite this constant pain that kept him out of many games, he believes he will not need to have surgery, according to a tweet by the Plain Dealer.
Dion Waiters said he thinks he won't need surgery on L knee that kept him out many games at end of season. #CavsThe Cavaliers, who recently fired head coach Byron Scott, ended the season with a 24-48 record. Waiters ended his rookie season playing in 61 games while averaging a solid 14.7 points on 41.2% shooting to go with 3 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game. He was also selected to play in the Rising Stars Challenge. The Cavaliers are a promising young team and Waiters and Irving look to lead that charge.
