Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah started yesterday’s playoff
opener against the Brooklyn Nets, even after it looked like he may not be
available. He played 12 minutes – as he continues to be hampered by a foot
injury – and he told reporters – including Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago – after
the game that he will be able to suit up for Game 2.
"I think it will get better," said Noah, who iced his foot before he took a shower, then iced it again after. "I'm just excited for Monday. I'm not worried about (the foot)."
