David Lee did not play in the Golden State Warriors' loss to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday due to a bruised right knee. He took Sunday to rest, though, and is expected to be ready to play tonight against the New York Knicks.
For my NY tweeps: David Lee (bruised right knee) sat out loss to Bucks but assured me he'd be ready to go for Monday's game vs. Knicks.

Lee is a big part of the Warriors' offense and defense. Generally, when he is not on the court, they struggle. However, when he does play, the Warriors are surprisingly good. Overall, the team is 35-29. They hold the sixth spot in the Western Conference playoff picture.
This season, Lee is averaging 18.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. That's a lot of production to lose when he goes down with an injury. In his career, Lee has averaged 14.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
