Marcin Gortat hurt his foot on Wednesday, but the extent of the injury was unknown at the time. Now the Phoenix Suns have said Gortat sprained his foot, and he will likely miss the rest of the season. Gortat will require a boot on foot says Paul Coro of AZCentral.com.
A dejected Marcin Gortat will have sprained foot in a cast for 3 weeks and doubts that he will play again for the #Suns this season.

Gortat was one of the few consistent players on the Suns' roster. He is understandably unhappy with the fact that he probably won't play again this season. Unfortunately, he won't even get the chance to come back during the playoffs as the Suns are not anywhere close to a postseason berth.
Gortat has had a big year for the Suns. Although he's seen fewer minutes as the season has progressed, he has averaged 11.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. In his career, Gortat has averaged 8.6 points and 6.9 rebounds.
