Detroit Pistons' guard Brandon Knight cannot seem to escape injury. After suffering ankle injuries earlier on which kept him off the court, Knight returned to the court hoping to help the Pistons. Not long after, he managed to both break his nose and tweak one of his previous ankle injuries. The broken nose should not keep him out of games but the tweaked ankle might, according to Pistons beat writer Dave Pemberton.
The Pistons are currently 24-49, ways off from making the playoffs once again. For the season, Brandon Knight is averaging 13.5 points, 4.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game, all up from last season. However, his efficiency has decreased slightly, with his FG% at 41.1% and his 3PT % at 36.6%. This could be due to the increased usage of Knight this season along with his various injuries.
#Pistons confirm Brandon Knight broke his nose. Won’t keep him from playing, but reaggravated left ankle might. He’s day to day.
