The Indiana Pacers have a good team. However, they have four injured player whose returns can help the team get even better. Danny Granger, Lance Stephenson, George Hill, and David West all missed Monday's game. The Pacers are hopeful that all four will return tonight.
According to an Associated Press report, Hill and Granger are the wild card and may not actually return tonight. Both Stephenson and West should be ready to go. But there's a chance that all four return to action tonight. It would be a big boost for the Pacers who have already proven they can be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
Granger has the most significant injury of the bunch. He has missed most of the season with patellar tendinitis. The knee injury has been difficult for him to return from. West has missed the past five games with back issues. And Hill has a strained groin. Stephenson's hip flexor strain should not keep him out much longer if at all.
The Pacers are 44-27. They are tied with the New York Knicks for the second best record in the Eastern Conference. They've already clinched a playoff berth. While they won't take over first from the Miami Heat, they must battle hard down the stretch to win the two seed.
