The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Dajuan Summers. He is essentially the injury replacement for their second round pick Trey Thompkins who never really panned out because of poor performance and injuries.
According to Kurt Helin of NBC Sports' ProBasketball Talk, the Clippers hope Summers can be a decent replacement for what they lost in Thomkins' potential.
Summers was signed to a ten-day contract. He will have to prove himself for the rest of the season if he wants to avoid being sent back to D-League duties. Summers has NBA experience so the Clippers could get what they'd like out of him. In his three NBA seasons, Summers has averaged 12.2 points per game. That's nothing to thumb your nose at.
