The Miami Heat have extended their winning streak to 22 straight games. Now, they will face the Boston Celtics. Regardless of the current state of the Celtics, Boston has always been a tough opponent for anyone facing them. However, they may be without Kevin Garnett.
According to ESPN Boston, Garnett has been limited not because of the need for extra rest at the end of the season, but because he had limited mobility in practice. Garnett is battling an adductor strain, and he may not be able to go tonight against the Heat.
Garnett has hinted at this being his last season, but no one knows for sure if he will call it a career. Garnett definitely wants to go out on top, but the Celtics may not afford him that opportunity this season. They are a decent team, but not a great team. They enter play today with a 36-29 record - 7th in the Eastern Conference.
