Carmelo Anthony injures knee after falling over his own feet

The New York Knicks are in trouble.  Not only is their defense back to being suspect at best, but their best player can't even run.  Anthony tripped over his own feet last night and had to leave the game.  He hurt his knee in the process, but the injury is not expected to be severe.

Here's video of Anthony trying to catch a pass in motion and falling immediately.

Anthony and the Knicks started the season on fire, but they have cooled off considerably.  Once considered the best team in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks are now 7 1/2 games out of first place.  They are comfortably in the playoff picture, but the team has certainly fallen off.

Anthony is still putting up solid numbers, but he will ned to do more defensively.  So far this season, Anthony is averaging 28.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.  In his career, he has averaged 24.9 points and 6.3 boards.
