It didn't take long for Andrea Bargnani to find himself back on the trading block. The Toronto Raptors have been considering trading Bargnani for some time now, but the injury would not allow that. Now they can try to make something happen before the deadline.
Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun confirmed Bargnani's return last night. He scored 13 points in 24 minutes of action. The Raptors lost the game, but Bargnani looked solid in his return. He is certainly someone teams will be interested in.
As Kurt Hellin of ProBasketball Talk pointed out, the team was shopping Bargnani before his injury. There was a concern that he wouldn't return before the trade deadline, but fortunately for the Raptors he has. Now they have a chance at moving him this season.
Bargnani is averaging 15.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season. In his career, he is 15.4 points and 4.9 rebounds. For a center, Bargnani does not pull down a ton of boards, but he has still proven himself useful in his career.
