The Oklahoma City Thunder got a scare last night when their star fell hard to the court. Kevin Durant toppled to the ground after being hit in mid-air. He landed hard and writhed on the floor in pain for a moment, but he was able to continue in the game.
The incident happened in the first quarter of the Thunder's match-up against the Heat. Play continued for a moment after Durant hit the ground, but timeout was eventually called and the team's medical staff was able to attend to Durant.
Durant is the heart and soul of the Thunder. A serious injury to him would likely cost Oklahoma City the chance to return to the finals. as it stands now, Durant and the Thunder are trying to repeat as the champions of the Western Conference.
