Cleveland Cavaliers' Omri Casspi after playing well in the beginning of his NBA career, has failed to find himself a role in the Cavaliers rotation. So much so that Marc Stein of ESPN has reported that the Cavaliers and Omri Casspi are discussing a buyout, hopefully to be completed from tomorrow's March 1st deadline.
Omri Casspi was hospitalized a few days ago to have his appendix removed.

Cavs and Omri Casspi indeed engaged in buyout talks, I'm told, with deal to part ways possible before March 1 deadline (which is Friday)If Casspi is bought out (he is signed for $1.3 million this season), the Houston Rockets are apparently interested in his services. Casspi has played in just 29 games this season for around 11 minutes per game. In that time, he's averaging 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. What hurts his value the most is his lack of efficiency He's making just 36.7% of his field goals and 35.7% of his threes. In addition, his free throw shooting has been subpar at a clip of just 55.6%.
