Bulls’ Derrick Rose won’t return until he’s ‘110 percent’

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is nearing his return, as he is practicing and traveling with the team. However, there remains no definite timeframe for Rose’s return, and he told Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today that he’s not coming back until he’s “110%”

"I don't have a set date," Rose told USA TODAY Sports on Monday in his first extensive interview since the 2012-13 NBA season began. "I'm not coming back until I'm 110%. Who knows when that can be? It can be within a couple of weeks. It could be next year. It could be any day. It could be any time. It's just that I'm not coming back until I'm ready."

Rose added that he’s roughly 80 percent right now, which he characterized as “far away.”

Rose continues to recover from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that he sustained during the playoffs last season. Without Rose, the Bulls have still managed to get off to a 30-21 start, good for second in the East’s Central Division.
