Former number one draft pick and current Washington Wizards point guard John Wall has yet to play a game this season. Having been out with a knee injury, Wall returned to practice for the first time this season according to the Wizards' Twitter account.

Ariza closest to return, could be in next few daysUSAToday reports that Wall participated in some limited-contact drills along with running and other non-contact drills. He refused to speak to reporters after practice. However, A.J. Price said a few words about Wall.

"He's still the same player. Fast. Aggressive. He looked good. Looked like his old self," Wizards guard A.J. Price told The Washington Post.There is no set timetable for his return but Wall previously said that mid-January was his target. Coach Randy Wittman said he "was excited" for Wall at this stage of his rehab but felt that conditioning was still an issue for him. That would natural for any player whose missed significant time due to injury.
