An injury last night may have made up Stephen Curry's mind for him. The Golden State Warriors' guard was contemplating whether or not he should accept an invite to play in the three point contest during NBA All-Star Weekend. Last night, he rolled his ankle and had to exit the game.
Curry has battled ankle problems off an on all season. Last night, he appeared to have aggravated the issue says Jimmy Spencer of CSN Bay Area. Curry suffered the injury when he stepped on the foot of Ed Davis. He had to exit the game later after trying to play through the pain.
Curry was an All-Star snub this year, but he did receive the invite to play in the three point contest. Curry is a devastating three-point shooter. He is shooting 45% from beyond the arc. Of course, Curry would have rather been selected to play in the All-Star Game, he was still contemplating whether or not to accept the three point contest invite.
