As Tim Duncan continues to battle a sore knee, he will remain a game-time decision going forward. Tonight, though, he won't be playing. And coach Gregg Popovich will not be there either. Popovich is sick and will not be on the bench.
Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reported yesterday that the Spurs' two most important people - Duncan and Popovich - would not be available for the game tonight.
Spurs forward Tim Duncan (knee) and coach Gregg Popovich (sick) did not travel to Dallas and will miss game against the Mavs tomorrow.

The Spurs have an uncanny ability to overcome injuries. Even more so than the Bulls it would seem. Manu Ginobili missed four games and the team went 4-0. Duncan has now missed two out of the team;s last three games. They won both games he missed. San Antonio is currently 34-11 and tied for first place in the Western Conference.
Of course the Spurs don't want to make a habit out of playing without their best players. Duncan, while not quite the player he once was, has averaged 17.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season. In his career, Duncan has averaged 20.2 and 11.2.
