Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard is now suffering from a different injury now. After getting surgery for his back and coming to the Lakers not fully healthy, he still isn't, Dwight appears to have sustained a strained right shoulder in the game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
For now, it is uncertain whether or not Howard will play against the Denver Nuggets tomorrow. Mike Bresnahan tweeted the news.
Despite not being at full strength, Howard has still done well and been a force in the paint. His speed and quickness has slowed but he is still scoring 17.4 points a game to go with 12 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. The struggling Lakers will be sure to miss Howard if he missed even one game.

Dwight Howard says he might not play tomorrow vs. DEN because of sprained right shoulder sustained vs. Clippers. #LakersHoward injured his shoulder going up for a dunk only to get hit by Caron Butler. He remained in the game despite being in pain. This will not be the first time the Lakers have had a star player go down. Steve Nash missed a significant amount of time with his own injuries at the beginning of the season.
