Despite the suspicion that Howard would be listed as day-to-day with his shoulder injury, he has been cleared to play for tonight's game. The news actually game down last night as team doctors did a quick job of evaluating Howard and confirming he could go.
Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports confirms Howard has been cleared to play.

Howard re-aggravated his shoulder (torn labrum) on Tuesday night when the Los Angeles Lakers were destroyed by the Memphis Grizzlies. He acknowledged after the game that he suspected the injury would be something that he would just have to figure out how to play through. It looks like he will continue that challenge tonight.
Howard has been struggling of late - ever since the shoulder injury, really - but he needs to be on the floor if the Lakers have a chance at righting the ship. They probably don't have a chance, but at least Howard gives them some possibilities.
The big man is averaging 16.7 points per game and 12.0 rebounds per game this season. He has seen a drop in production since coming to Los Angeles, but there are numerous factors behind that including his offseason back surgery, his shoulder issue, and coach Mike D'Antoni's offensive system.
