Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley missed last night’s
contest against the Chicago Bulls due to a rib injury, and it’s unclear how
long the ailment will sideline the team’s defensive specialist, according to A.Sherrod Blakely of CSN New England.
It is unclear how long the rib injury will sideline the 6-foot-2 guard who has played in just eight games this year after returning to the lineup following surgery on both shoulders.
Bradley returned not too long ago for the Celtics after
being sidelined following shoulder surgeries. It’s unknown how many games he’ll
be forced to miss as a result of his recent rib injury, which was sustained during
Boston’s 90-78 loss to the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday.
With Bradley out due to injury, the Celtics will turn to
Courtney Lee, Jason Terry and Leandro Barbosa to replace him.
