Wizards Injury News: Trevor Ariza Out 3 Weeks

Forward Trevor Ariza of the Washington Wizards went down with an injury in the win against the Miami Heat on Tuesday. Coach Randy Wittman estimated that Ariza would be out for about three weeks.
Three missed weeks equates to around 10 missed games. Martell Webster or Cartier Martin will step up in his absence.

Ariza has been averaging 8.1 points per game on low 34.9% shooting from the field and 25.6% from beyond the arc. However, he is shooting a career-high 84% from the free-throw line. The forward is doing a decent job defensively and on the boards, grabbing 4.9 rebounds in 25.1 minutes of play. Last year he grabbed just 5.2 rebounds, in just under eight more minutes of play.
