Ricky Rubio has not had much time to bond with his teammates on the court. He has had a lot of time to bond with them on the bench. Rubio has played one shortened season since leaving his Spanish team to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He blew out his knee toward the end of last season and is still rehabbing from the injury. Despite all this, Rubio is pretty happy in Minnesota.
He was asked by AP sports writer Jon Krawczynski about his happiness.
Had a chance to chat with @rickyrubio9 today. "If I had to put a number how happy I am (in MN) 1 to 10, it would be a 10."

Rubio had a successful rookie campaign until the injury last season. He averaged 10.6 points per game and 8.2 assists per game. He didn't light the world on fire, but he showed exactly why the Wolves drafted him so high back in 2009. It took some time for Rubio to be released from his contract in Spain, but he has adjusted quickly and adjusted well to the NBA.
The Timberwolves are still a rebuilding team, but they have a nice core with players like Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio. The team's biggest problem so far has been keeping them all healthy at the same time. Rubio is nearing return from his injury, but he has still yet to play in a game this season.
