Stephen Jackson's now famous (infamous?) tweet threatening Serge Ibaka has gotten him a $25,000 fine. Players trash talk all the time, but it's usually on the court. Now, with the rise in social media, trash talk can come from almost anywhere, and sometimes is can get out of hand. The league felt it had to take some sort of action, and they did. Lucky for Jackson, they chose to fine him over suspension.
