The Orlando Magic have announced that they could be without
big man Glen Davis for four to six weeks due to a shoulder injury reports John Denton of NBA.com.
The injury will not require surgery, but could keep Davis out of action for four to six weeks, although there is no definitive timetable for his return. A MRI conducted on Thursday showed no structural damage in Davis’ shoulder.
Denton notes that the injury will not require surgery, but
there is still not definitive timetable for his return. An MRI conducted on
Thursday showed no structural damage in Davis’ shoulder.
Davis sustained his injury with 47.8 seconds remaining in
the Magic’s 90-83 win over the Washington Wizards. At the time of the injury
the big man sprained his shoulder and had it popped back into place by Orlando’s
training staff. Davis’ treatment will include rest and strengthening of the
muscles around his shoulder.
