Blazers Injury News: LaMarcus Aldridge Sprains Left Ankle

Portland Trail Blazers prized power forward LaMarcus Aldridge suffered a sprained left ankle. The Trail Blazers PR Twitter page tweeted the following about the results of an MRI.
Aldridge injured his ankle badly on a play during their 95-94 win of the New Orleans Hornets last night. After the game, Ben Golliver of Blazer's Edge quoted Aldridge about how his ankle felt in one of his tweets.
For now, Aldridge is considered "questionable" for Thursday's game against the Denver Nuggets. It will depend on how he is feeling come game day and how his ankle is holding up. For this season, Aldridge is averaging 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. However, he is playing for a career-high 38.1 minutes per game while shooting at a career-low of 46.5% from the field.
