Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut will be out for the next seven to 10 days according to Coach Jackson. USA Today talked to Andrew Bogut earlier about his injury, which it is clear he is frustrated immensely about.
"I'm being pushed and pulled from all angles," Bogut told. "My agent, the doctors and trainers here, they want me playing (at full health) in February and March and April because if I try to do something stupid now, I could have a setback. I understand both sides of it.After being set to just 20 minutes a game, Bogut will be taken away from the court for the next three to five games likely to steer him clear from setbacks. Being the centerpiece of the team, Bogut feels like he should be contributing.
Bogut: "I can do more ... I don't feel like I'm helping the team."Bogut was acquired by the Warriors last season in a trade that sent Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh and Kwame Brown to the Bucks. In his limited minutes he's gotten in his four games this season, Bogut has averaged 6 points on 55% shooting to go with 3.8 rebounds per game.
