Minnesota Timberwolves power forward returned from his hand
injury last night in a big way, scoring 34 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in a
losing effort against the Denver Nuggets.
Love was added to the team’s active roster prior to last
night’s game, cleared to play and inserted immediately into the team’s starting
lineup.
Shocker: Kevin Love's broken hand has been cleared, sounds like he will play tonight in a surprising development

After breaking his hand while doing a knuckle pushup before
the season had starter, Love missed the start of the year. While he was
initially projected to return around Thanksgiving, the power forward hadn’t
done much as far as practicing goes throughout the week.
Despite losing last night to the Nuggets, Love’s return
offers a significant boos for the Timberwolves. The All-Star provided 24 points
and 12.3 rebounds for Minnesota last season.
