Minnesota Timberwolves guard Brandon Roy had his knee scoped recently and is expected to miss “a couple of weeks” following the procedure,
according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

The scoping marked Roy’s seventh knee procedure, and fifth
since he’s been playing professionally. It continues to beg the question
whether the former All-Star will ever become healthy enough to contribute
significantly in the NBA again.
After retiring due to medical reasons in 2011, Roy signed
with the Timberwolves in July. Prior to undergoing surgery, he played sparingly
after injuring his knee in the preseason and aggravating it early in the
regular season.
