Brooklyn Net's sophomore guard MarShon Brooks will take the court tonight after spraining his ankle during last Friday's morning shoot-around. The Nets play the Boston Celtics on TNT.
In his first season in the NBA, Brooks averaged 12.6 points on 42.8% shooting to go with 3.6 rebounds in 29.4 minutes of play per game. Coming off the bench for three games this year, Brooks has become much more efficient. He is averaging 10.6 points on 63.2% from the field in just 19.7 minutes of play. Although its not a sustainable number, Coach Johnson and Nets fans would love to see an increasingly efficient MarShon Brooks.

Coach Avery says @marshon2 will play tonight, though we can expect a similar rotation due to the success of the #BKNbenchmob #injuryupdateBrooks has been an integral part of the Nets team, performing as one of the top rookies last season. With the acquisition of Joe Johnson over the off-season, Brooks will now come off the bench, and will likely end up being the 6th man.
