If Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake is able to
successfully go through practice on Monday, coach Mike D’Antoni is confident he’ll
return when the team hosts the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, reports Mark Medina
of the L.A. Daily News.
Assuming Steve Blake successfully goes through practice on Monday, Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni said he will return when the team hosts the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
Blake has missed the Lakers’ last six games since
aggravating a lower abdominal strain during a Nov. 11 against the Sacramento
Kings. He first experienced discomfort in his abdomen Nov. 4 versus the Detroit
Pistons, but continued to play through the pain.
Even after Blake returns the Lakers will not be without
their full backcourt, as point guard Steve Nash continues to rehab his
fractured left leg.
