Lamar Odom is trying to work his way back from a foot injury and back into the good graces of the people of Los Angeles. Of course, he is trying to do so as a member of the Clippers not the Lakers. Keep that in mind as you watch this video.
Of course, his slip up while filming promotional material is not as relevant as his contributions on the court. Chuck Schiklen of the Los Angeles Times says that on top of the bone bruise in his foot, Odom may have injured his knee over the summer and not told anyone.
Odom has played in each of the Clippers first five games, but he has only scored 11 points. Not 11 points per game. Eleven points total. He is averaging 2.2 points per game. This is leading to concerns about his health.
Odom was drafted by the Clippers back in 1999 and spent four seasons with the Clippers, but he is more well-known for his time with the Lakers. He spent seven seasons with them and won two NBA Titles. Now, Clippers fans are hoping he can recapture some of the magic that helped him win a Sixth Man of the Year award.
