Charlotte Bobcats power forward Tyrus Thomas is expected to
miss two months of action after an MRI revealed a tear of the plantaris muscle

Charlotte Bobcats power forward Tyrus Thomas is expected to miss two months after a magnetic resonance imaging revealed a tear of the plantaris muscle in his left leg.
Thomas sustained the injury during Saturday’s loss to the
Memphis Grizzlies. He hobbled off the court and was later diagnosed with the
tear and a second-degree calf strain. Though he doesn’t require surgery he will
still be sidelined roughly two months while recovering from the injury.
In place of Thomas, Hakim Warrick is expected to see
extended minutes, according to Bonnell.
