Philadelphia 76ers newly acquired center Andrew Bynum is need of yet another knee procedure. Dei Lynam of CSN Philadelphia tweeted that Bynum will undergo a procedure for his right knee which would consist of lubricating his knee joint.
#SixersTalk According to a source close to situation Bynum will undergo a previously scheduled procedure to lubricate his knee joint. The team hopes that their starting center is able to return by late October, in time for the regular season opener. Bynum hsa already missed training camp and parts of preseason due to his Orthokine therapy in Germany in September. Last season, Bynum averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds a game while playing in all but six games. he is notoriously known for his injury-plagued seasons but this past one seemed to be his healthiest one, which ironically occurred in the shortened, more fast-paced season.
