In a tweet by the Raptors PR, Kyle Lowry is reportedly out for the first 3 preseason games with a strained left adductor muscle. There has not been any time scheduled for his return.
During the shortened season, Lowry played in 47 games in which he averaged 14.3 points and 6.6 assists while shooting 41% from the field.

Calderon has been the starting point guard for the Raptors for the past several seasons but it looks like the team is looking to go a different direction. But with Lowry out, Calderon will return to being the starting playmaker for the Raptors.
